Hairston Racing runs 231 MPH

News Release….April 4, 2009

The Hairston Motorsports and Racing 2007 Pro Street GTO with a 377 CID twin turbo Duttweiler built GM small block ran an incredible 231.30 MPH in the second round of qualifying at the recently completed West Coast Hot Rod Association race at the famous Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield, CA.  Their 6.27 et was also good for low et of the meet making them the #1 qualifer for the third consecutive race in 2009.

Driver, Clint “The Milkman” Hairston commented, “that when I pulled third gear I knew the car was really making a charge even though the data showed us the car spun the tires all the way to the 1/8 mile.  We hope that Vegas later this month will have improved track conditions.”

The Hairston Team’s next event will be the PSCA Las Vegas Nationals April 18-19..
