Hairston Motorsports & Racing Qualifies #1 In Las Vegas

News Release….May, 2009

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (May 1 & 2, 2010) - The Hairston Motorsports & Racing team attended the Pacific Street Car Association (PSCA) "Racin' 4 Jason" Nationals, in Las Vegas this past weekend. Clint “The Milkman” Hairston qualified #1 out of 14 Pro Street entries with a 6.27 @ 236 mph, achieving both top speed and low E.T. of the day.

Clint and the Jerry Bickel built 2007 GTO were paired up with Jay Syvertsen’s ‘38 blown Chevy in the first round of eliminations. An unfortunate redlight caused by a computer malfunction ended the team’s day. Clint commented, "We have made a lot of adjustments to the car and we are looking forward to a huge come back in the next few weeks. We are thankful for our crew this weekend; Doug Stewart, Tom Esbri, and Bill Hickok for their enthusiasm and dedication they have for this race team. We couldn't have made this race without them.

Hairston still holds the Pacific Street Car Association Pro Street National E.T. and MPH record that was set at the Record Breaker Nationals in Las Vegas earlier this year. The record still stands 6.237 @ 232.35 mph.
