Hairston Motorsports & Racing Going to NMCA

Alta Loma, CA (December 17, 2010) - The Hairston Motorsports & Racing team will be relocating their operation to Columbus, OH in 2011 and plans to compete in the NMCA Pro Street category. In addition, Jake Hairston, the team’s crew chief will be leaving the NHRA Technical Department to accept a position with Jeg’s as their new Director of Racing.

Jim Hairston, Team Owner, commented “Clint and I are very excited for Jake. This is a wonderful opportunity and significant career advancement. Our decision to move the car was easy. Wherever Jake goes the car goes since he is the heart and soul of the team when it comes to preparing and tuning our Twin Turbo GTO. Clint and I will remain in California and plan on flying into the NMCA races.” Hairston further remarked, “With great regret, we will be leaving the PSCA along with many great friends and competitors. Although we have not finalized our 2011 schedule, we are planning on competing at the PSCA 2011 opener so we can proudly show off our PRO 1 number with plans to return in November for the Street Car Super Nationals.”
