NHRA Announces New Electronics Specialist
Jake Hairston has joined the NHRA Technical Services Department in the position of Electronics Specialist.
"Jake brings a solid background that fits in with our needs at the NHRA" said Don Taylor, Senior Director. "He comes from a family racing background as crew chief, has worked hands-on in racing engine development, plus he has a formal engineering education." Competition wise, he started out in Junior Dragsters, and worked his way up to a Super Gas category license.
Jake will address electronics issues in all of NHRA's racing classes, both from the Glendora office, as well as at the track. He will also work closely with the Divisions' Technical Directors.
A California native, Jake holds BS degrees in Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering from California State Polytechnic University.
